The first conversation covers your current situation, what you want, and the work we can take on. Site studies, planning work and document preparation start once you have agreed the scope and the quote.

Yes. Tell us whether a facility has been chosen and what is giving you trouble, as far as you know it. We will set out what needs checking and which parts we can take on.

You can limit it to the steps you need: sorting out the issues, reviewing existing documents, preparing for dialogue, or structuring a proposal. We confirm the target, the deliverables and what is excluded before we start.

What is being studied, how much we produce, meetings and site visits, work with outside specialists, and how many steps are included. The quote states what is included, what is not, and the terms for extra work.

Say so on the consultation form. Once we have checked the subject and what we can cover, we will arrange a time by email. Booking a meeting does not by itself mean we have taken on the work.

Send the URL of the tender documents, the deadline, and the part you want us to take. We will check the content and the schedule and tell you whether we can do it. Urgency does not mean we can promise to take it on.

PUBLIC 0 is run by the Institute for Social Vision Design (ISVD). Where creative work is handled by a separate organisation, we tell you in advance which organisation takes which work and what it costs.

Yes. We ask what you are trying to decide and what state the facility is in, then set out the work needed for the next decision. Actual studies or documents are agreed separately, with scope and cost.

We first check the existing scope, who is responsible for what, and the terms for sharing information, then tell you what we can cover. We do not override the existing contractor's work or judgement.

Yes: the purpose of the dialogue, the conditions you want tested, briefing material, the questions to ask, and how to write up the results. We cannot guarantee that operators will take part or apply.

Searching for candidate sites starts by fixing the area, the intended use and what has to be checked; we then say whether we can do it and what it costs. This is not a free listing or brokerage service.

We go through what the tender asks for, your own plan and the evidence behind it, then help structure, edit and produce the documents. We cannot promise that you will win or that the business will earn.

For building and services, law, tax, and specialist appraisal or calculation, we first establish what expertise and what liability are involved. PUBLIC 0 cannot always cover it alone, and where a specialist is needed we say so separately.

We can discuss concepts, naming, websites, briefing materials and publicity. It is kept separate from the study and planning work, with its own scope and contract, and we agree in advance what information is shared.

On the contact form, choose “Error or update in an article” and give the article URL, the passage in question, and a primary source we can check. We will verify it and correct or update the article.
